Happy New Year!!!

It is a new year. A clean slate. A new beginning. Hope. Possibilities. Dreams.

What a crazy year! Let's take a trip through 2008...

Jan & Feb
These months consisted of planning for William's first birthday. It was a nice time in our year.

March
William's first birthday! How amazingly fast his first year flew. It was a lot of fun to plan.

April & May
Just regular months. However, we started getting issues with William's daycare late in May and we decided to pull him out. It was then I decided I wanted to be a Stay at Home Mom.

June
Ah, school was out and we started getting ready to sell the house!

July
The house SOLD~! Packing, packing, and feeling a little sad about leaving our home, but thought it would be for the best.

August
Moved in with Mom and Dad. It was a full house, but we are very lucky we have such wonderful parents that would even let us do it. We also tried to get pregnant this month by doing a FET (frozen embryo transfer). Our hopes were high and then came crashing down when we found out the cycle didn't work.

September
Problems with qualifying for a home loan. I contacted the school district to see if they would let me come back to work. This was a hard time for me as I was not sure the distrcit would let me come back, and I was feeling very guilty for not really enjoying being a Stay at Home Mom. After some interview, rejections, and all that, I finally got hired at Somerlid! Things were starting to look up.

October
We bought a new house! How exciting! We were also getting ready to try another IVF cycle, but found out on Oct 28th that we wouldn't need it; that we were expecting! WOW!

November
Nervous news about the baby, as at our first ultrasound the baby measured behind. It was a very tough month. We tried to stay positive, but it was hard with distressing news in our minds. Benjamin and I did have a nice getaway to Las Vegas and got back just in time for Thanksgiving.

December
Miscarriage. Sadness. Tears. Dispair. Surgery. We still had a very nice Christmas and a toddler that is the light of our lives.

This year had its ups and downs. We will learn from our experiences and hopefully 2009 will have more ups than downs!

I hope the good stuff outweighed the bad. Lots of hugs!
